Canada is one of the most multi-cultural countries in the world. One out of four people living in Canada is a first-generation immigrant. We celebrate the wisdom of God who has brought SIM workers from a variety of countries and backgrounds here. Their specialised cultural experiences and insights are helping the Canadian church reach their new neighbours more effectively. SIM currently has a total of 57 workers serving from coast to coast, building inroads for the gospel among marginalised and immigrant communities.

Pray for Terri’s friend who served overseas in very difficult circumstances, and is now back home but with many physical aliments. Pray for her physical healing and for strength for daily tasks. In spite of many challenges, she loves to pray for others and ministers in that way.

Prayer Request : Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We humbly ask SIM to remember in prayer the brothers and sisters of our ministry as we serve in Northern Uganda. Please pray for open hearts to the Gospel, effective discipleship, wisdom and strength for our leadership, and God’s provision. We also ask that the Lord would raise up Christ-centered partners to walk with us in supporting orphans, vulnerable children, teenage mothers, and struggling families, so that lives may be restored and Christ may be glorified. Thank you for standing with us in prayer.
