What does it mean to hear and follow a call from God?

What does God sound like? How do you know you’re hearing from God?

Are you called to missions? Are you called to serve in your local church, or serve alongside the church in Canada, or serve overseas? there are 1,000 of opportunities to serve with SIM.

Come and hear two of our SIM workers have to say about being “called” to missions. Come and walk in their shoes and hear their stories.

Crystal grew up as a missionary kid in southern Africa. After becoming a teacher, Crystal served for five years in Niger at Sahel Academy. For the past three years, Crystal has lived in Alberta and has worked on the SIM Canada team as a mission’s coach, investing in the lives of SIM’s newest missionaries.

Dave Roberts has served in church and mission ministry for over 35 years, with about half of that time in direct cross cultural settings and the other half in discipleship and training of those wanting to engage in mission. He had his wife Sandy raised their family in Zambia for 12 years and recently returned to give leadership to SIM Zambia team. Dave holds a an MA in Missiology/Intercultural Studies.
