These days, establishing a career, struggling with finances, and the lack of time are significant issues for most people. Finding the balance is often difficult, particularly when you bring God into the equation!
Finding God’s purpose in your life is a big issue. If you're reading this, chances are that God is really challenging you to take a serious look at mission but what does that mean in terms of commitment?
God may be challenging you to look at mission, but is this forever or just for now?
We often hear people say something like,
"I have a few years between finishing my studies and beginning my career...and I want to make a difference in the world"
or
"I want to go overseas and see what mission work is really like before I commit to longer ..."
With SIM (and many other missions) you can go to the mission field for as long as you want. SIM classifies missionaries serving for less than 2 years, as 'Associates'. After that, your status changes to 'Long-Term'.
There are literally thousands of opportunities to serve...and make a difference.
